timmytree
It seems we have a few watch experts on here so I'm looking for help identifying a watch that I picked out of a skip about 30 years ago. No pics as yet until my grandaughter shows me how! It is a chunky, heavy cased automatic, metal bracelet, round dial but the main case is squareish. Day, date and second hand with a beautiful sweeping motion, no jerks or stops.. Stainless back but looks like gold plate on everything else. Makers name is Starmaster, on the dial is automatico and 21 rubis. Swiss made. In the centre of the dial is a round black plaque with a rearing gold horse, on its back legs and tail down. The same motif is on the "winder" and the clasp of the bracelet. I've googled a few different sites but got nowhere so far so I need some help! I know its difficult without pics but I'm a real numpty with computers so if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be great! Thanks in advance. timmytree
If thats the case I'll carry on wearing it! It certainly isnt pretty but it's quite accurate. Looks more 50s though.

timmytree
A local auction house advised that they would would put the watch on with a reserve of £250. Because I got it for nothing I have no real interest in selling it. I like it as a watch to wear occasionally despite it's weight and odd looks.
