kennett
Any body had this before? Just been up to check zero before foxing tomorrow, put a geco 52g through to be met with a loud crack from the breech end (I think howas have a gas bleed off port in front of the bolt?) Any way the shot was on target, but ejected the case and where there should be a nice dent from the pin, there was a neat hole right through the primer so could see right through the case. Checked bolt, crown, mod, barrel etc all looked clear so put another through, with the same result. But shot on target. Shot 3 Norma next after checking everything again and no sign of anything abnormal, all primers dented normally and group looked good
Walker570
Sounds like they are over pressure. I had a friend who had some Sako cartridges which blew the primers out ..expanded the primer hole so much the primers fell out .. importers seemed little concerned, when he sent them back. See the retailer you purchased them from.
rangey
had this happen with factory and home loads in my howa 223...I know its not over pressure in my home loads using cci primers....never caused a problem or not hit what im shooting at....if it was happening every shot then would swop factory ammo or change homeloads
kennett
2 shots in a row is enough for me, I'll take them back and get some more Norma
