I pick up with him on a local shoot, This year will be his second season. Peter_HMR Posted June 14, 2007 Report Share Posted June 14, 2007 Word of warning alot of people dont allow they're dog to pick up crows as if they're not totally dead they will try and peck out the dogs eyes and would be a shame to ruin a lovely dog on the other hand if your a good shot you wont have a problem but something to think about. charlie 1 Posted June 14, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 14, 2007 hi m8 i knew the crow was dead as i saw it dead before i let him pick it up. i only let the dogs pick them up if they are dead and i can't get to them otherwise they get another barrel. was just some good training for him to hold it for a while. thanks for concern.
