Alama hyde 11 gun finish

My old pigeon auto is rust and bright metal hardly any blue, i tried Krylon it was tougher than holts mat black car paint but still heat from the barrel had it giving up. wads hard wearing though.

Looking at this purpose made gun finish on Brownells has anyone here used this.?

I have used Rustoleum, Motip and Plastikote stove paints with pretty good results, for barrels and receivers hook up a heat gun to a bit of metal flexitube poked in the barrel to effectively cure the paint. Plenty of ventilation as some of these paints smoke a bit while curing. All available on the bay for less than a tenner and heat resistant to 500-800 C
