figgy
I’d go the cerakote route that’s what the SX3 grey shadow guns were coated with, never heard a complaint about them rusting. You could get the action done and pick a drab olive or brown if it’s for fowling.

lancer425
White spray grease from Halfords. I spray the barrels and action and then wipe off to leave a thin coat. Don't do it if you're in a sandy area or the sand will stick and turn it into grinding paste. Spray and wipe off with WD40 back at the car then proper clean at home. This is what i do, i don’t like WD40 as lube or penetrative, but as a rust preventer inhibitor its not bad, some evidence its bad for blacking i hear but i use an oily rag with Automatic transmission fluid on it and it is usually oily enough to prevent rusting in use, even in a downpour you can smudge the atf around on the metal work a little and the WD40 at the car after a quick dry is all it needs. landy george
wow looks superb, have you done it urself where to buy it from ... and any guide how to do it No, took it to High calibre coating near Ipswich. Now looks better than new, as it won't rust now. You can do it yourself but not easy to get hold of, £130 isn't a lot of money to be maintenance free
