wymberley
Elite 1.6 turbo 200 petrol manual. Son has just got the 1.4 auto version and I quite like it, but prefer a bit more muscle. Shan't be able to afford new so aiming at the current model in a couple of years or so when I pack in the majority of this shooting lark. Any comments welcome, please. hodge911
broke down earlier in the year beside stanstead airport and the rac got me 1 as a hire car to get me home before bringing the ranger home the next day ......... so my only experience of them was a new one with only a couple of thousand miles on it but it went well and was quite good on fuel using £28 petrol from stanstead to Newcastle on tyne at a steady 70 - 80 mph comfortable as well
Hendrix's rifle
The new Vauxhalls don't seem to be very reliable at all, they also depreciate in value very very quickly!
eastdevon
Have a 2012 model with the 1.7 cdti, bought it on 22,000 and last week it turned over to 193,00, still everything original apart from usual service items as and when needed. Runs like a dream and very economical clean...not smoking at all. Only upgrade I have made is of a personal preference is to braided brake lines as this gives much better braking feel on the pedal! That's the best engine in them, our work van has a 2003 with about 200k on the clock now with no major work. They don't use it in the new ones though
