CaptC
Has any one used snap loaders - similar, or the same ones as the Napier product? They are sold in pairs - it would (for my old brain) mean having several loaded pairs in a pocket and single cartridges in another? Thanks
welshwarrior
I've tried them idea seem good but in the real world they where no better than plain cartridges. The gap wasn't quite right on any of my guns.
CaptC
Thanks for your reply. I had similar misgivings - the "angle of dangle" would need to be spot on or else there would be a lot of fumbling! My method is to hold two cartridges betwixt forefinger and middle finger - using a 20 bore eases the problem.

Aha! I am more than aware of the possible damage as you so rightly say - I avoid holding them in my right hand (I'm a right handed shot) so try and hold them as "loosely" as possible to avoid gauging out the checkering! So far, so good!
