How many guns do you even own? In years down the line when you want to move to another house you’ll want a cabinet that you can just unscrew and the room is undamaged and won’t look silly to potential buyers, whilst you can just go and bolt the cabinet into the wall of your new house. If I was to have a metal door it would be clad to look like the other internal doors, not industrial looking. However I'm opting towards a larger gun cabinet now, I have other priorities to spend money on than creating myself an OTT project (been convinced by the missus) and i'll only make the space smaller with over cladding the existing walls. Only 3 guns at the moment but need provision for another 2 at least as I want to apply for my Section 1 once I have moved, no doubt I'll add to that in the not too distant future to. So i'll be looking for a 7+ cabinet ideally.
TIGHTCHOKE
Always buy a bigger cabinet than you think you need!
Lloyd90
Can always buy an extra cabinet and have two also. Note secure really cos if thieves are trying to cut into them they’d have to cut into two seperate safes!
