30-6
Is it worth bore sighting a photon ? Or just shoot and move X and y as per instructions.

Just about worked in terms of elevation.

I found it so awkward to get the right mount at first, I bought the same mount that you purchased but when zeroing it was way off and I couldn’t dial anymore elevation or windage, I had to get adjustable mounts for it. So when I zeroed the gun I adjusted the mounts with Allen keys, the reticle is straight in the middle of the screen now. mounts wasn’t cheap though £90 sportsmatch mounts. i see others buying any scope mounts and work for them but sadly not me

Not ideal but it worked and can’t be seen (under 1p fix ?)
JRDS
You are right not ideal, lifting the back means uneven pressures and contacts on the front mount.

But... still accurate and works. £90 better spent on my stalking rifle and gear than on a adjustable mount for the odd rabbit.
JRDS
Go the whole hog then for the odd Rabbit and use a Lamp I don't get NV for Rabbits unless they have been hounded, conventional Lamping with a Day scope is far easier.
