welshruger
I have read on this forum about upgrading the trigger on my ruger 10/22, can anyone give me some advice on what kits are out there and where to obtain them.
Lurch
Try South Yorks Shooting I've got a Volquarsten High Performance but I'm told the Power Custom stuff is also good.
A Sick Old Man
If you type " Ruger 10/22 trigger into Google or E Bay you will get all the info you need mate, its really worth doing. El Sid
The Volquartson and Power Custom trigger kits work well, they are simply the same components held to tighter tolerances and finish, lighter mass and springs. The Kidd trigger is a completely new mechanism and replaces the entire trigger housing. This is THE trigger for the 10/22. Problem is the first two kits are about $100 depending on what's included. The Kidd trigger (sold through STI) runs about $300. El Sid
Sussexboy
I used the power custom hammer and sear pack from SYSS for my 10/22. It was £45 well spent IMO. It transformed the rifle and made it much sweeter to shoot. Never having taken a trigger group apart before I did have to swear it back together again ps get a bolt buffer as well, it makes it all a bit quieter in operation.
