greenergp
Has anyone here used this press or one of the others like it, the I have a Gaep RTO for finishing crimps that i use in a drill press, but these crimpers and finishers look much better for getting a uniform finish and length on shotshells. hakapiken
The OMV smart i best for new hulls. You will also need a something to to dropp powder and shot. Some of my swedish friens have this kind of press and they are very satisfied With the results. Perfect crimps and uniform cartridge length every time. I use a Mec 600 and have a Gaep BN2 in a adjustable drill press for finishing at correct lengt. I find this Works great with once fired hulls. J.A. Continental Shooter
Yup, high end home reloading tool. I personally have lots of his components (especially the finishing tool, number 2 is the best all-rounder)as i rate them very high. OMV are also very good and they brought to market several innovative tools. I've not been particularly impressed with GAEP as I had a mixed bag of tools from them with some good and others not up to standard. If it's quality and refinement you're looking for, good old Colvini is the way to go(but OMV might be a tad cheaper). Cheers
pinfireman
A pal has one, he tells me that it,s good with new cases, not so good with once-fired...So as I am not going to buy new cases (and increase the cost of reloading) I think I,ll stay with my Ponsness Warrens!
