Picatinny rail shooting loose

When I recently purchased a sauer 100 rifle in .223 I also got a recknagel picatinny rail for the versatility of day scope and photon.

The screws only come through the rail a couple of mm and look about a 3mm thread.

Trouble is after a zeroing session, all 4 of the screws are coming loose. I done them up with the supplied torx key to what I thought was a sensible tightness. I did wipe the top of the action with an oily cloth prior to fitting.

So, is it possible that the threads are slightly oily and not staying tight ? Or do I need to apply some sort of thread lock after degreasing ? Would this be advisable or a bad idea ?

Applie a thread lock blue non permenant so they can be removed is best.

+1, my rails on shotguns come loose if I don't use loc-tite (be aware, there are several different strengths though, as WW suggests blue non permanent is best) oil probably not helping also
