Longy0710
Hi All Just getting back into the sport after a few years out and I am hoping to get a pigeon magnet. The question is which 1? I had one a few years back that didn’t work well with dead birds on. Can anyone advise me of a good quality magnet at a reasonable price that I can use dead birds on many thanks longy
lakeside1000
For me its the economy version, AADecoys.co.uk do a very functional magnet with extending arms that carries 2 dead birds including wing spreaders, for just £45, quite light to carry,I don't think the battery was included which I preferred as I use the 12 amp golf trolley batteries, large enough to last 6 hours+ but light enough to carry out to the field, I now run mine through an on/off switch remotely operated from the hide with a push button switch, this allows me to stop it if birds are a little 'twitchy' on approach, but quickly start again when no birds are nearby. oldypigeonpopper
hello, i purchased from A1 decoys as we do get discount and it come free post via parcel force, the professional magnet with 14 ft span, i did not buy the battery as had a small car battery with handle , this is 3 spike and i add a steel bar to middle spike to steady when in use, if your going to use extension arms buy the 4 spike, much the same can be purchased from uk shooting warehouse, its debatable on using a speed controller, my kit was about £100 with 2 hypa flaps,
