Like Sir Briarscratch I run Labradors, athletic, hot and birdy as hell. Some of us call them Labrador shooting dogs……they do retrieve like a Lab should, but they are first and foremost bird dogs, they do not just pick up dead birds, they find them and handle them for the gun. (at least that’s the plan) Here are some pics: Here is Tater with a Ruff Boston and Tater

new to the flock
Welcome to the site. Vermont is such a pretty state and has very fine upland hunting. NTTF
Briarscratch
Hey Chuck, good to see you. Maybe we should offer to take our hosts down to the pub and buy a few rounds? And since you're dropping some black dog pics, here's one or two of my own. (Chuck and I are members of a growing minority that think Labs shouldn't weigh 100lbs and be relegated to non-slip retrieving duties. We like them fast and birdy and don't mind if they point on occasion) Christmas Double in Iowa last December What a ham. Acting strange for a retriever. Lighting the afterburners. But like all Labs.....
gundogpa
Here is Boston.....pointing Tater. Tater taking a dip.......looks cold to me. Bumpers in the back yard. I lost a couple bumpers in this raging brook.
