shawn9914
Can these be fitted to any 12g o/u or does it need to be a single barrel semi auto type gun
hawkfanz
they can be fitted to anything, but i would imagine a 12g o/u with mod on would be a real beast to handle,i have 20g o/u with mod on,and its quite a lump to chuck about.wouldn,t like a 12g one. shawn9914
Might need to invest in another gun then There are a few 20g and 410''s about silenced what would be the preferred choice for shooting rooks in a delicate area I shoot a few with the air rifle but need to shoot them in flight
Ultrastu
Well .the quietest is the .410 and noisiest is the 12 b with 20 and 28 in the middle . Ive shot plenty of crows with both my .410 hushpower and 20b hushpower . The 20 has more range .obvs. but the .410 can still drop them out to 30 yds at a pinch . The .410 is a lighter, quicker handling gun .the compromises are up to you . Personally .i shot .3 pige and 2 crows last weekend with my .410 dropped them all clean out to about 25 yds. . 5 for 5 -100 % .was thinking do i need my 20 b .then missed the next 4 birds .as they were a touch too far out. 35 yds possibly .
