Chezney
Evening all, Having asked about thermal in another thread, I'm looking at the Pulsar 38 TI. As it's for a rather specific use, I may only keep it for 2-3 years. I know that nobody knows what will be on the market in 2-3 years, but wondering what people's view is on resale value in 2-3 years. Or, to ask this differently, what would a 2 year old unit be worth now? (I keep things in good condition). thanks!
bumpy22
Like everything in technology something better will come out and bring the price down. I dont think there is much chance of selling mine in 2 years. Absolutely fantastic bit of kit
Chezney
I totally agree. But in a hypothetical scenario, what would a second hand one go for today?

The Mighty Prawn
Judging by the depreciation of the previous models and the rate of new releases you’d be lucky to realise 2/3 of the current price but there’s a few for around 1/2 book price already for the older models as said above technology moves so fast today’s cutting edge is tomorrow’s doorstop
