I apologise. It does seem a ridiculous Idea for all the hassle to set up a small business. After being asked to carry out work for a large business. The time it takes to set up such a company would be??? It didn't not take me long or any expense and anyone that knows me would vouch for that. In your experience I am sure they tell you how much it costs to repair damage set mole traps etc. Plus the committee meetings where members insist on plans for damage control or a full time employee. I can guarantee the payment options are better than a bottle 😉 I have very limited experience with wildlife management and am always keen to here from guys behind there computers.

Very simple really. Two options. First is be employed zero hours contract. Agree hourly rate and times you work with director or head of greens. Covered by there insurance and public liability etc Second and best option set up a business. Quick books is simple to invoice each month. Again you liase with director or Head of greens when you are there. Any contract can still have you on there insurance or public liability. Or set you own insurance. They can still pay for ammunition with receipts each month and hours invoiced. This gives you biggest chance of building business and bringing new opportunities onboard. All shooting equipment clothing will be tax deductable. Golf courses are very well ran business and will like to engage all aspects the same. The option of paying cash I would not think worth there risk. Hope this helps and please put the effort in and go for it.

There is a small alen key screw in the bolt next to indexing cog. Loosen this cycle the bolt through magazine retighten when bolt is down. The magazine will have to be set with the hole fully open not half way like it is when mag is full This will reset the bolt to magazine hpefully. The bolt should cycle freely then. Common issue with all moving parts loosening a bit The plastic magazine aren't great alloy ones are a lot better

I have been controlling foxes in one way or another since I was old enough to walk with my dad. Seen the damage they do and witness there clever brain in doing so. For anyone to say that they don't need controlling needs to spend more time looking at nature and the small eco system we live in on a small island. I have more respect for foxes than I do most of the humans I meet. But without control I think it be very costly. On the subject of releasing game birds and higher numbers of foxes. This I believe will be correct. if you supply a food source they will come as anyone that keeps poultry will know. But its how they are managed. As the gentleman said above nothing better than seeing a fox in woodland. Providing its not by one of my pens. The fox is the most adaptable and opportunist creature on our planet. We need to respect it for this. But also control it when needed

I set up my own company and shoot for various different golf courses. You will need your own public liability and insurance if being payed. Also get a contract written this will usually state what you are expected to control from types of mammals to Birdlife. Usually the hgc will discuss and liaise with you the damage you need to stop. From there forward it is for you to explain methods used which must be obviously 100 per cent legal

We always get ours late end of July early August. Just hope there won't be anymore problems as everything is all up together this year. Something bound to go wrong lol
