Walker570 Posted August 9, 2018 Report Share Posted August 9, 2018 For those of you who a) cannot afford or find enough work for a thermal etc. and b) spend a fair bit of time shooting around farm yards for verminous things, then I think I have found the perfect reasonably priced answer. I called in the electricians shop in Kettlebrook Road, Tamworth this morning for some cable and they had on show a battery operated security light, two LED lamps, batteries included...standard AAs. Has a slide/clip fixing which could be left in place or screwed to a board which could be moved and the lamp taken away when finished. Have not as yet unboxed it but will have it up and running Saturday night so I will report back. I also have some red plastic which I intend cutting to fit the lamp heads so providing a red light which a) doesn't kill our night vision and less startling...hopefully... for reynard.
