Big Al
A very quick run out shooting over standing wheat. Even though the field had been shot two days before (by someone else ) the farmer wanted it shot again. A big bag was never on the cards but an enjoyable run out anyway. Incidentally I know my hide is rubbish - it was put up in a hurry and my hide poles are broken at the Base. It did the job though. Must get some new poles .... WelshAndy
Some good shots there Al. How do you like the M2? How does it compare to your old xtrema?

Thanks - it was my first outing on live quarry with the M2 but I really like the way it handles. Very well balanced and fast handling - more so than my xtrema. It's only 3" chamber as opposed to the 3.5" xtrema but I don't use 3.5" any more any way. Too much thump for not enough return Imo. I have a full set of shims for it and a mixture of internal and external chokes so I'll be tinkering with it for a while. I was using a quarter internal choke at the crows but I'll try an external half choke on the ducks. One thing I really like is the slim fore end - much more like an O/U as it doesn't have to house the gas mechanism.
