Proudly
This farm occasionally has geese on & is only 3 miles from a big reservoir. The farmer started combining last night & I’m hoping this might attract them. Never shot them on here but wondered if its worth setting decoys up first light & calling? Seen nothing last night in the skies...
Penelope
Worth a go if you have nowhere better. A few decoys and a bit of calling may bring in geese that are flying by.
marsh man
As Penelope said , worth a go if you have nowhere better , but in all honestly , you would need a lot more than luck if the field have only just started to be cut , have you been out either morning or night to see if any geese are going on any fields where you can go , or on any of your neighbours land ? I would never set up blind without doing some homework first , but you know your area and might well strike it lucky . GOOD LUCK

Lots of geese went out the other side of the valley to us, but some well timed calling and a few decoys brought round two passing greys that were gloriously missed by all present! ?
