codling99
never had a gundog ,had terriers, allways go for bitches me,but i have got a dog too.and to be totaly honest the dog works better, but the bitch more loving ,faithfull and listens better.swings and roundabout s mate, bitches suffer with seasons, and dogs suffer from wanting nookie everytime they smell a bitch in season.(even legs). Country_est
Bitch every time for me, even though I have a dog at the moment, This one thinks he an alpha male, and when I am not around he tends to try and take the p1$$. Get on beds, sofas ect but as soon as I walk in the house hes back on the floor. Seems to be dogs can be more willfull than bitches, and as spaeils are more willfull than labs would always have a bitch. First dog I ever had was a ESS bitch, best dog was a Lab bitch. Having said that both of them would have struggles to retreive the canada from the middle of the pond where as my thug of a lab just grabbed it and swam out. Cranfield
Bitches are more biddable, in my humble opinion.

Deb B
Dogs are goofballs and mature slowly. Bitches are more biddable, but if they are good girls, you want to breed them, so the heat cycles are a pain in the foot. I love them both. And I speak in gross generalities. Given the choice, it's the breeding, not the gender.
deeksofdoom
Bitches Easier to train, don't have the dominance thing, more affectionate! Look at the stubborn head on the dog in the avatar
