Ferretboy111
My friend has one, its a cracking dog, abit leggy really, an ace rat catcher, looks as strong as ever, not sure what he is like on anything else, but he is dead keen on rats, i would say he would be a nice straw stack dog, but too big for earths. Tarka
im going to have a look at one tomorrow, a nice little bitch. The stud dog was a small but stocky pat and the bitch im lookign at has apprently taken on his sort of size so is good and small both the mother and father are mustard or rats and old red under ground
Ferretboy111
Yeah this one i know of is a dog, they vary so much, i know patterdales which are short and stocky, and others which are leggy, a dare say a bitch would be smaller, they certainly are built for reds, strong animals. A lakeland cross would be something i would consider in a terrier, very attractive animals. Alex

Ferretboy111
Looking good to me, my terrierman who comes on my shoot once told me this: "If your going to buy a terrier, buy carefully as there is ALOT of rubbish (Not the word used) out there and many people who will quite happily tell you rubbish to sell you rubbish." Watch the parents work if in doubt. Good luck Alex
tikkamark
All patterdales are a bit leggy if your after one for going to ground they are good for large fox holes but in a tight hole there not great a good jack russel would be a fair bit shorter.Hope whatever you get will work out for you
