cloudwalker
Went over to some land we shoot over in Beds today. Had some brilliant days earlier there this spring on the rape Thought we would be into them again now that the crop has been harvested. Didn't see a single pigeon feeding on any of the fields But not only that, we couldn't find any pigeons feeding or flighting anywhere. Where have the 1000's we saw 3 months ago gone? henry d
There is now a surplus of food all over the country, so woodpigeon will be distibuted evenly about, unlike winter/spring where food is sparce and concentrated and therefore loads of birds on few fields...........just my 2p`s worth.
