reefman
Hi I have a 527 223 lux.The twist rate is 1-9,I think some of the older models are 1-12,but have never seen one. Build quality is fine, they are not a premium grade rifle, but are very well made,I tend to use the set trigger all the time,The american has nicer blueing. I am very happy with my 527.I have zeroed it to 100yds can shoot a ragged hole at that range, and remove lots of vermin with it. stevethevanman
cant speak for centerfire rifles with CZ but I can say something about there rimfires, they are alot of gun for the money, I have a CZ american in .22 with a 22 inch barrel and it can put 3 bullets into a five pense peice at 60yds . CZ's are really good value for money Steve
grasshopper
I own Cz 452 .22 rimfire x 2 Cz 550 .22 250 Cz 550 .243 I obviously don,t rate them . Can,t fault mine..excellent for the money you pay and reliable with it GH
Dunkield
Most, CZ 527's are 1-12. I <think> I don't claim to know this for sure, some of the heavy barreled or varmint may be 1-9 or 1-8? I have a Lux which shots very well, I have never been over the moon about the trigger but that can sorted if it bothers me enough. As the others have already said, accuracy is top notch, very reliable and they come with a 5 shot removable magazine, which is bonus in my books. Forgot to add, I don't like the hogs backs stock, just a personal thing, and it was too thin in the forend so I changed mine.
