ash bash
well what a day on the old OSR, started off quiet trying several combo's with deeks and rotor. At 9:30 they came in hoards of groups of about 12-15. By 12:30 I had a bag of about 32 and couple of crows. I decided to walk the hedges for an hour and bagged a couple of magpies and mised a bunny or two!! I missed My Browning auto and its 3rd shot!! Its poorly after loosing a trigger mechanism housing pin, soon be better again!!! (Thanks to GARLANDS). HOW DID EVERYONE ELSE DO?
webber
ash bash Great to see that you had a good day, but what time zone are you in? You were going to post at 8pm. Sorry to hear about your Browning semi, but you really should know better. There have been enough posts on here about the reliability of Browning semis. Unfortunateley Ive nothing to report, I had to work yesterday, and my pal runs a kids football team on a Sunday. webber

Guest Mr Pieman
Off to find a Falow buck tomorrow morning. hope to be out and looking by 0430hrs. PP
red_stag88
Where are you heading off to PP? Ashburnham? We only shot one between four of us, but as always I saw plenty of bucks. I was after the bunnies though. I stalked a doe and a fawn to 15yds and follwed them at that range for 30mins in Panel Wood (the bottom bit by Rocks farm), I saw a nice pricket in the fields by Links wood, and lastly I bumped a huge muntie out at the most bottom part of Creep Wood. PP, If you have any traveling and the cloud cover is minimal I reccomend getting up a quater of an hour earlyer. One morning there was no cover and I could have shot at 4:45. PS the scope is performing nicely, a few brace of bunnies and awhole heap of tree rats
ernyha
One morning there was no cover and I could have shot at 4:45 Don't forget the clocks have gone on 1 hour, it will be pitch black at that time now. Not that i intend to get up at that time to see.
