the hitman
I was walking my cocker Rio tonight along a standing barley field, when i spotted three roe deer about 100yrds ahead . As i got closer they ran into the standing barley , i could see a large buck and two 3/4 grown young . The fawns must have lay down , and the buck was jumping around , but never more then 50yrds from me.I kept walking until I reached the bottom edge of the field , when the two young ones ran out of the corn 15yrds ahead and into some trees. I crouched down got the dog sat next to me , and watched as the buck came jumping straight at us. I was looking along the top of the barley , and he came so close i thought he was going to jump right over us. The wind was at my back and into his face , and he stopped 10ft from me , paused then turned back into the field. I walked another 50yrds and watched as he turned and ran to where i had just been , and into the trees where his young were. As i walked further i spotted the doe running from the barley , straight to where the others has disappeared. I was well pleased , and the dog , well he hardly gave them a second glance.
