neil
Right, I've done a spyware search and anti virus, no better, then got hold of AOHell live web help, they have told me that i need to uninstall and re install aol. so i think now may be the time to stick 2 fingers up to aol and get broadband, the problem as i see it is i will loose my favourites and my email filing cabinate in the process, ideas??? also what are good reliable (and cheap) broadband services? (not to sure what is available round here, will have to check)
Cranfield
Can,t you download your favourites and email file cabinet to a CD, or floppy disc ? I have been with Freeserve for 5 years, the last two on Broadband and I have no complaints.
crowstopper
AOL is the problem is my view, they plant a load of **** on your computer which interferes with it running properly and spy where on it, what you need to do is get with another supplier, I recommend virgin.net or Freeserve
MadSpringer
Neil, look here for ISP reviews http://www.ispreview.co.uk/ I would recommend Plusnet, I have been with them for 2 years, no problems and great support! http://www.plus.net/index.html?pn_session=...aaa7140c5851791 You should be able to save your favourites and email contacts! Cheers!
High_gun
The favourites are just a system folder containing internet shortcuts so can easily be copied. What platform (windows etc.) are you running? If the problem is with Internet explorer try the repair option. H_G.
