kiddy1
hi, my first post on the forum... so here it goes. I have been shooting pigeons for a few years with a side by side and was nailing everything, unfortunatley the gun needed some serious attention, i bought a new gun but it is an over and under and tbh i couldnt hit a barn door! Was hoping someone could give me some pointers. Cheers

Can take you down to the grouse butt and try a few there! Of course GUN FIT is also a contributing factor!!!! LG
beatingisbest
Easy to fix! Sell the O/U and buy a proper gun a nice S/S

Cheers Hi I shoot a franchi harrier o/u would`nt say I was brilliant, tend to aim a couple of feet in front of target with clays although would have though this would apply to s/s also. I`m just going onto pigeons so maybe you could advise me on that !! Mitch
kiddy1
Ok went shooting over at Beaufront today and shot 45 pigeons and 1 crow... was shooting alot better than normal with the new o/u then ran out of bloody cartridges, so i think it's just a matter of getting used to the gun as i am getting better each time i use it. The only other thing i did not want to happen is after i ran out of cartridges i got the 12bore s/s out and nailed pretty much everything.
