PotHunter96
Quite fancy an over the barrel type moderator to reduce the length a bit on my anchscutz, just wondering as I have a slot for .17hmr which I hope to acquire soon at some point, would I be ok to get a .22 mod that I can also use on the Hmr as well as my .22 or is it better to get a .17 specific moderator? billytheghillie
I use a Sak moderator, fits my .17hmr and my .22 and does the job. £39. there is others out there at higher prices but get a Sak.
PotHunter96
I do have a sak that I use currently I just have quite a long barrel already and thinking an overbarrel might make it a little more handy in a vehicle
billytheghillie
why not get a bit chopped of the barrel.
PotHunter96
Was advised against this by my local gun shop as something to do with a slight taper at the end of anschutz barrels and it might affect accuracy
telf
A calibre specific mod is supposed to be that little bit more accurate , you pays your money and takes your chance i got my annie chopped to 16” and its as accurate if not more so than it was before , great guns
