Hunter
Been a while Before I write anything, I would you like to say thanks to Dunganick! Within a day he tought me a lot about centerfire shooting, and had me pull of some long shots with the .222 at up to 300m. I dropped 2 sets of 2 crows with two rounds. We finished the day with Nick teaching me how to shoot long distance, and off my Harris Bipod, I hit two bottles at 300m (small plastic water bottles) with my 6X Swaro scope! I have settled for my ammunition type, and will stick to it. I apologise for once again not making it to the Bisley Shoot! But I will show up soon. (just finishing my drivers training this following week with a test). I am now hooked to Centerfire after learning its full potential. The accuracy of my Tikka is outstanding, shooting almost 1/2 groups at 200m pending correct windage adjustment by myself, to which I am pleased with. I have far more confidence now in the .222 centerfire then rimfire. And I take my hat off to Nick for the days training and shooting we had. Thanks! My qeustion is, I need a scope with higher mag for better long range shooting. the .222 has proven more then capable of shooting out to 300m, but with a 6X42 Swarovski scope with a thick reticule is pushing it for thining down the group. I would like something with adjustable turrets, as I prefer to dial in the range rather then compensate. I am thinking of something like the Super Sniper, but for now I only have around a £200 budget, maybe a little more, and id be happy to swap in my Swaro some how (worth £200) I wanted to check in Chris Potters today but closed on Wednesday should have remembered since I worked there Thanks for looking, hope you are all well! I have kind of got my eye on this scope, I know its expensive, but I could do it at the end of the month if I work hard enough.. its a Bushnel Elite 6-24x50. Mill dot, looks like it would do the job! http://www.gun.co.uk/webshop/image.php?obj...p;image_id=2180
loopy bunny blaster
have you tried mtc vipers?
john faul
lookes like a fairly good scope there
JohnGalway
Viper has fiddly eye relief and the clicks on the turrets on mine aren't the best, wouldn't feel confident adjusting it by click in the field tbh.
Hunter
Cheers guys il do further research. That is about my max budget, Leupy's are a little to pricey for what I need and can afford
