welshwarrior
I’ve just got a 125 TAOTAO quad bike I’m looking to fit a tow bar to use a small trailer around the place anyone ever fitted one I suspect it will have to be jury rigged as I can’t find a kit. Saltings
should be four bolts where your rear diff bolts to the frame drill a plate to the same centres then weld a 2"x2" box section central with projection to suit your needs and tow ball on the end about an hour or two to make and fit + materials all n all should be less than £100 all in can build what you want if you supply measurements Edited December 6, 2019 by Saltings
welshwarrior
Thank you due the shape of the rear end and the rope point guard around the rear disc. I’m think I could use a braced L bracket connected with a couple of U bolts on each side.

welshwarrior
Thanks Shaun it’s a good little machine so far little trail will make it great around the garden and woods but also useful for deer extraction.
shaun4860
Reet.... The tow bar is bolted to a piece of angle iron which is then welded to the loop at the back of the quad. It’s the only place it would go. Its only ever used for towing clay traps around and we have a small trailer that we use for carrying clays to different locations.
