Nope...still waiting.....maybe they are waiting till another months interest has gone on?

As soon as I heard it had been cancelled, I went on the CLA Game Fair website.

I returned the tickets/camp site pass on the same day recorded delivery to the address given (a PO Box in Basingstoke).

The only thing that I have got so far is a refund application form from the camp site bookings address (a PO Box in Milton Keynes).

It says that they can only give you a refund via BACS transfer, so they need your Sort Code/Account Number.

Funny how they can manage to cash cheques, but not write them.

Not impressed.

Problem is it costs them to write out company cheques whereas bank transfers are free. Its easier that way though.

I did exactly the same as you including s.a.e. and a covering letter asking them to send me a cheque by return, 2 days later i received the refund form.

Don't think i will be bothering going to any of their fairs in the future ,if this is how they treat customers.

 

Suppose if they hold on to the money long enough the interest will cover their losses or am i just being cynical
