twelvebore
Without being too critical, a few points should be raised here. We have no idea of the consistency of the ballistic gel. Is it at the standard of 1.0, or has it been mixed with a little or more water. (giving a consistency of below or above the norm (1.0)) Why (Oh why) would anyone use the same block of gel for repeat firing. Totally out of order, unacceptable, cannot be viewed as legitimate results. Ranges were not stated. The .22 could have been fired at ten feet, the .357mag at 50 feet. As a scientific practice, this excercise was a total waste of time and energy. Probably great fun, but as a set of results, worthless. fortune
Ballistic gel Amusing :>>> nah Interesting:>> nah Practical or technical: >> definitely not. Try it with a plastic container or plastic 1 ltr coke type bottle with or without lid. Best results with centre fire 3000 fps +. Amusing :>>> yeah. Interesting:>> maybe Practical or technical: >> definitely not.
