rayo
Went for a run out in the car today and passed a field full of Crows so i thought why not ask for permission so up to the farm i went and knocked on the door not knowing what to expect as a few of the farms i have knocked on before the farmers atitude has been a bit unpleasent to say the least ( maybe i caught them at a bad time) But the farmer today was a real gent and told me that he was only a tennant Farmer and would need permission of the landowner but before i left he asked for my phone number so what do you all think does it look promising or should i not build my hopes up I will let you all know if i hear anything Cheers

Cranfield
Even if you don't hear anything, at least it gives you a bit more confidence to knock on the next door. Don't be shy about calling back there, if you haven't heard anything in a couple of weeks time. Try the, "I was just passing and wondered if you had heard ........etc". Pick the same day and time, as it seems to be convenient for him. Good luck.
