Desmodronic
Can anyone recommend clay shooting grounds in either of these areas?
Catamong
There aren't many decent grounds in these areas, the best one locally is Four Counties near Newbury, family run, good atmosphere and reasonably priced. http://www.fourcountiesctc.co.uk/ If you've got plenty of money to burn and you come from a posh family background, you'll feel at home at EJ Churchill's near High Wycombe. Targets are OK, but very expensive, beware: http://www.wwsg.org.uk/ Cat.
Dunkield
It all depends . . If you just want to get out and shoot some clays there is, on your doorstep: Flightline - In Maidenhead, near the Office Park on the A4, fortnightly. It's OK, nothing special 70 bird. Prestwood - In Flackwell Heath, better, I think they are all 100 bird now, and under new management - fortnightly the opposite Sunday to Flightline. The is also one in Gerrards Cross near the A40, not sure when that is but the boys at Dowlings gun shop will know. Happy Valley - Bit further out, near reading, Thursday afternoon/evenings as the moment but will be Sundays again soon: http://www.happyvalleyclays.co.uk/ We prefer to go less often but to go somewhere good, so we go to Four Counties from time to time, as Cat says good shoot and they always try to vary it. Have a look at Valley View as well, starts up again at the end of the month, it's squaded, but is always a good layout IMHO: http://www.valleyviewisgc.co.uk/ And to PW BTW... Glenshooter
Consider Jericho Farm - Oxford Gun company. Friendly and family run.
