Jon-Boy
Hi I have down on my ticket for 2 moderators which slots i have filled, out in the field last night, my rifle decides to shoot a bullet into the baffels of the moderator rendering it useless! How do i go about replacing this? As both my slots have been used how can I buy a replacement???
markbivvy
its a one for one variation. and i would be very worried why it happened.
tikkamark
How did that happen? The mod must have been seriously loose for that to occur as markbivvy has said i would be very worried having bits of metal flying through the air a couple of inches away from my face
Jon-Boy
Not sure how it happended chaps! One minute i was knocking the bunnies over left right and centre, the next.... hear a twang, hmmm thats not right.... take off the silencer and inside is lots of ickle bits of bullet inside ! I always check the mod every ten mins or so to make sure its screwed up tight too. Mystery, fired the gun the rest of the night without the mod and was still shooting as good as ever! The only damage to the mod is a couple of deformed baffels which im sure can be fixed. This one for one varation seems alot of messing about, sayin that me tickets at the plod station at the mo anyway for a varaition might give em a bell and kill two birds with one stone! taffygun
If it is just the baffles that are damaged then can you not buy a baffle kit for it or even make/get some made out of stainless steel.. I would be concerned as to why it happened but if the structure of the moderator isn't damaged then it can be repaired.

mry716
Problems such as this with PH silencers are always down to incorrect reassembly. You get a reassembly rod and that must be used to align all components as well as ensuring they are all reinstated and in the correct order. The problem indicates either misalignment or incorrect order of components or worse an item (the washer) was missing on reassembly allowing the components to remain less than tight.
