RICH ACK
hello everyone . i recently sent off for an application for FAC and received the pack etc . i was just wondering if anyone could tell me if i can just apply for FAC air rifle or would i have to apply specifically for rimfire or whatever and is it considered easier to get an FAC for air rifles or the same just wondered if anyone could help please
Dave-G
Yes you can apply just for FAC air - and it will probably be more acheivable than if you also apply for rimfire. You may also find you get an open cert if you only go for air too. However if the land you have will justify rimfire you'd be as well to apply for that now at no extra cost and initially get a more restrictive certificate, sometimes with a mentor if you have near zero firearms experience.
