Guest Mr Pieman
My brother has just brought a new multi. He had a fixed choke one for the last 15 years. Its a bit heavy but he's a big lad so it isn't really a problem. He shoots well with it and thinks, for the money, its great  PP PS My brother is mental I hasten to add

Hammergun
Baikal guns have come a long way since the soviet era. They are now much more refined and higher quality than they once were, and represent excellent value for money.

stoggieman
R/E Baikal semi auto I live not far from York guns. I too considered buying one only the shop at that time did not have any on show they told me that they were all away being proofed. I must have gone there at least 10 times over 4 weeks and never saw one They did however show me one that had been returned I think someone had fired a magnum steel through a full choke for the muzzle was non existant The guns are built to a budget and I don t think there are much to beat them for the price in the past I have owned several Baikals My wife has a single and it is a great little gun They are a little agricultural but would make a nice pigeon gun I passed on buying one and bought a mint winchester 1500 xtr with all the winchokes in 50 years of gun ownership I have never had a gun like it But thats another story Peter
