My brother has just brought a new multi. He had a fixed choke one for the last 15 years. Its a bit heavy but he's a big lad so it isn't really a problem.

He shoots well with it and thinks, for the money, its great :thumbs:

i have owned a semi for about a year i am using a trulock choke in it improved mod i can say i have not fired the factory ckokes yet but im going to try the full or mod this season in 2 weeks but trulock and others make after market chokes i like my trulock for geese

iam thinking about buying a under and over sporting multichoke ive had the 627 and 628(two sets of barrels) in the past and they were great guns, ive got a browning silver stalker at the moment but i may sell or part exchange it

Red, did you know that the lake you refer to holds more fresh water than the rest of the worlds fresh water supplies put together? :lol: I kayaked over it some years ago - not only vast but frighteningly deep too :thumbs:

R/E Baikal semi auto

I live not far from York guns. I too considered buying

one only the shop at that time did not have any on show they

told me that they were all away being proofed. I must have

gone there at least 10 times over 4 weeks and never saw one

They did however show me one that had been returned

I think someone had fired a magnum steel through a full

choke for the muzzle was non existant The guns are built to a

budget and I don t think there are much to beat them for the

price in the past I have owned several Baikals My wife has a

single and it is a great little gun They are a little agricultural

but would make a nice pigeon gun

I passed on buying one and bought a mint winchester 1500 xtr

with all the winchokes in 50 years of gun ownership I have

never had a gun like it But thats another story
