I WILLIAMSON
I am new to reloading but looking to load steel, I have a lot of lead and was looking to re-use the powder in re-load ? can I do this and where do I find the info. Also found out I have to buy steel cups to load into as wads. Be gentle I know nothing!👍
aberisle
No you cant do that, you need to know exactly what powder you are using and follow proper load data with the right cases, wads, primers and powder, what you plan to do is a disaster waiting to happen. Get some steel load data and buy the right components before you start

MAB1954
Please read a shot shell reloading manual and fully understand it then follow advice above. Lyman, Ballistic Products and RSI all have manuals with steel reloading sections. Take care.
Dave at kelton
Steel produces significantly higher pressures than lead. So, as all previous comments you need to start from scratch with your components. Powders like Alliant Steel and steel wads are a must. Speak to Claygame they are great for advice and supplies. I have loaded steel for the last five years which is not long in the scheme of things and good home loads are very effective.
