Guest Patsmash
Had a few hours out last night with the rimmy and NV gear, not many rabbits about and a change of ammunition didn't help but managed a reasonable bag in the end. Guest Patsmash
Mines a Cobra Merlin which is a cheap add on system but when using it a 90mw laser illuminator it give you a range of 70yards + which is pretty good. The best thing regarding NV is that you won't get lamp shy rabbits.

pin
Christ, that's "not many about", what do you normally use a trawler net?
Hunter
I like that NV setup, can you give us any info where you bought it? I am seriously considering a lamp, but a good lamp costs almost as much as a cheap NV unit Also how do you get a 90mw laser to work as an illuminator? Cheers, thats one decent bag there!
