Might well be eating any weeds growing between the Beans or any bits left over from the previous crop , we haven't got any Spring Beans but our Winter Beans are now up 10/12 inches with no signs of Pigeons . This is not to say the Pigeons you have got building up on your Spring Beans are not eating the fresh leaves but that is something we haven't come across around here . matone
Passed another field of emerging beans covered in pigeons at lunchtime despite it throwing a torrential downpour at the time ! Must be finding something good to go on the sticky fields at the moment.
