caeser
Went out yesterday ,didn't expect too much. farmer reported all quiet on the pigeon front. Set on a drilled field that we had watched for half an hour, and seen a few woodies about, not a lot though. Started at about 2.30 pm. Two of us on the same feild about 400 yds apart, trying to cover the wide flight line. 4 hours later and 36 woodies between us and about 8 crows. The picture of me is only with the birds that I had shot. My pal Paul had already packed away when we got back together. All in all a great afternoon. malkiserow
cracking time did you leave the motor there whilst shooting? I guess not but thought I'd ask....
caeser
cracking time did you leave the motor there whilst shooting? I guess not but thought I'd ask.... No it was left another field away hidden behind a large pile of old dead trees. I left all my gear where it was and went to pick it up. Luckily for us the field behind was still stubble so I could drive across it and not have to carry the gear for miles.
