out by myself tonight was only out 30mins when i spot this dog fox walking around in some rough ground, after a bit of ducking and diving behind a hillock, got a nice shot at 90yds down goes foxy! should have had another beside my house but im a bit awkward with my arms yet, especially with the weight of my remmy. couldnt get on him quick enough. no harm to leave one for breeding!

I got one this evening conor there at nine o'clock i went in to a spot we were in with the terriers on saturday there was a fox in the hole but the collar on the terrier started giving trouble so had to take the dog out and leave the fox  As soon as i hopped the gate into the field tonight a very big fox was feeding out about 100yards without a care in the world  i had to work the bolt and clip on the light but a fairly strong wind was blowing and he didnt hear a bit of me he started to trot off then looked back i put the bullet into his shoulder and an almighty THUMP came back the 64grain power-shok went right through the length of him lovely big dog fox i have him in the freezer for the researcher fella now :P

Good work fellas, nice shooting :P ..better than mine :good:

Got among them the other day,out for rabs with the farmer so i took the 243 just in case.Got behind a wall and gave a call with the primos mouse squeaker.Set of eyes 2 fields away running towards us,lost for a moment so another call and it,s in the field about 300yds coming like a train, had to give 2 OI,s to stop it at 35yds.Got fox fever i think cos although i hit it,it ran off and i still don,t know how as the rifle was only high and left an inch or so  .Checked the wood next morn but it,s a crag so lots of hiding places, :look: but got this 1 in the next field over.

Well done fellas, Mark I'm not gonna ask what that knife is for

Lets just say them 4 magpies didnt quite manage to fly away  Thanks frank :D

Jeff it could be possible that at 35yards the rifle could be well low on the fox but its hard to know :P Good going to get that fox in the pic though ;)

It is about 2" low at 40yds as i re-zeroed next day and confirmed, but rifle was shooting over an inch high before this.As we could see blood on it,s right hand side i,m now thinking that the bullet has entered the chest and exited behind the front leg a little too high and early too of hit the vitals, also as it was a game head and not a ballistic tip..less impact..still annoyed, only happy with a clean kill, but it happens.

hello lads was out again tonight for a shine, driving along a bog road i spot foxy on a hillock, out i get couldnt get shot from where i was so i head off hot on his tail, all the while there is a red stag roaring away in the backound somewhere, never seen him. foxy lies up in some bushes at about 300 yds id have had a shot but im getting a nasty glare in my scope from the mod. nice little hillock about 150yds from him so i head for it he was still there when i got to it. down prone crosshair on neck, i hear that lovely thump! small vixen, the other side of this fox ain't pretty!
