Pigeon_decoyer
I have around 20 eggs in our incubater that are all fertile and about 3 geese eggs! Only going by what Ive heard about the tempreture and turning the eggs at the moment! Does anyone know anything about incubating eggs? What tempreture? How often do you have to turn them? Cheers PD
tody27
I have never used an incubator, although I often use broody chickens to raise pheseants, chickens and ducks. In my opinion broody chickens are far more superior than incubators for small scale production. Broody chickens will do everything- turn eggs, show the chicks food etc, teach them the way of life. Although I have never used an incubator I expect the temperature needed is about 35-37 degrees celcius because this is a hens body temperature. hope this helps, tody
Teal
37.5 for pheasant + guinea fowl. Turning about 4 times a day I think, but I had automatic turner.
Cranfield
Of course, if you were really serious about hatching these birds out, you would tape the eggs under your armpits. I read about someone doing that with a rare birds egg once.

Quercus
Goose eggs will take about 28 days, and chickens about 20 days plus/minus a day or two depending on type. Q
