Do you intend to use a speed controller? Do you need to walk far with it or put it in a car/4x4? BTW.... how much do you recon the magnet has you cost you so far including materials/petrol/phonecalls/welding rods/paint etc ? cheers

DR JAMES
Hello again. its cost me £22.50 so far. will need to work for a max of 4-5 hours at the very max. needs to be quite light as have to carry it and no speed controler planned as yet. no idea about power out put. all i know its a vectra wiper motor?? hope this helps 12v 7amp should be ok for 4-5hrs but i would personaly go for a 12v 17amps incase you intend to shoot for longer. 4-5hrs is a short day if there is pigeons to shoot and a 7amp battery will be slowing down so stay out longer and get a 17amp battery - I use a 17 amp battery and it last me all day at the same speed for 10hrs + but this will all depend on how may amps your motor draws and if you use a speed controler.
