das
I have a Chapuis gun which is covered by very fine scroll and 3 game bird scenes. Beautifully etched by laser but the problem is it so fine you can't hardly see it. I understand there is a process for filling the cuts. Can anybody advise. Thanks. reindeer
That is very easy to accomplish. Clean the area you want to fill with a degreaser. Then cover it completely with a black permanent felt tip marker. Allow to dry and wipe off the surface with a piece of cloth, sligtly damp with degreaser. I did this with my Winny 101 and it really makes the engraving stand out. It also proves to be very durable. You can try without any risk of harm done to your gun. If you don’t like the result, just wipe it off completely. Edited January 1, 2022 by reindeer
