shootthepigeon Posted December 24, 2021 Report Share Posted December 24, 2021 Pressure reducing valve, feeds cold water to the cylinder on a mains pressure hot water cylinder, if you turn the black lever to look across the pipe this will isolate the hot water. There will be a bar reading on the body this will need to be matched with the replacement. Not sure on your location but I may have one in the van. archi Posted December 24, 2021 Author Report Share Posted December 24, 2021 Many thanks all have had a quick google as well and it was recommended isolate and runs one hot water whilst undoing the valve to try to clean the filter this seems to have stopped the leAk for now so job on Boxing Day will be to remove the base unit to get a better look and dry the floor out Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
