rabbit hunter Posted April 29, 2004 Report Share Posted April 29, 2004 I find that the red filter brings out the eyes very well, but you cant see right across the field, as you can with a white light. Amber filter, allows you just about as much visibilty as white, but without the brightness to spook them. They reckon red lights are good for foxes coz it relaxes them. But if its a pop in filter, or flip you could use white light, find the bunnies, then flip to red, so u have an idea of where they are at. well it works for me....
