Dazv
Hi guys hope your all well, I’ve picked up a set of sports match ht082 mounts for my tikka t3, it said they’d re suitable for my rifle but the arrestor pin is a type I’m not familiar with. The pin doesn’t come from the base pointing downwards but instead comes from the dovetail itself horizontally and is about 2mm. It also says it’s removable but it seems to be pressed in the very tight. Is this something you guys have come across? cheers darren
Mice!
If its horizontal is it not a grub screw?

No mate, it’s a little pressed in pin that’s right in the dovetail. It says for tikka and Cz rifles so all I can think of of that the Cz centerfires have a side facing arrestor pin. It’s not an issue for me to drill and tap a and turn a pin to suit my tikka.
pg339
The mounts you have are for the CZ527 with side pin. The Tikka mounts are ht081 with the correct pin. The side pin will tap or pull out.
